Moses has grown into what we call his "teenage" phase. He's got the body of a full-grown cat, but still has the excitement and energy level of a kitten. And he's a little bit...umm...rebellious. We'd heard from others (who had adopted kittens that were orphaned at an early age) that they tend to have a bit of a wild streak when this is the case, and Moses is no exception. He can certainly be cute and sweet and cuddly...but in a matter of seconds can run across the room, jump, and latch on to your thigh like there's no tomorrow!
I know this may be a little hard for some of you to imagine, especially considering the tiny and adorable kitten that we all got to know in the beginning...but we still love him the same! And to be honest, we spend so much time chasing him around that we don't really get much time to make videos...and when we do, they're not always of the "cute and cuddly" nature.
So, with that said, here's a video of what Moses does when he's NOT being cute and cuddly!
Thank you SO MUCH for the update! I've been wondering for months how he's been doing (OK, I have no life). He is still so adorable, in my eyes! Of course, he's growing up, and doing it great, from the video. Definitely in the "crazy teen" phase...how big and strong and healthy and happy he looks! I know you must have no time, but the updates are very much appreciated. I've been following him since his story first emerged, and it's a wonderful thing you guys have done to document his whole story. What a great kitty and great parents. GO MOSES!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the Moses update, I've been curious as to how that little guy's doing. He's not that little any more though! What a beautiful cat he is. Love in the video how your dog is so patient with her little brother too. :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the update on this remarkable little guy (although he's not really so "little" anymore) ... I just stumbled upon this blog and the story about Moses in November, so I haven't been waiting as long as most for more info, but I'm SO glad you guys rescued him!
ReplyDeleteLooks like he's definitely in the "crazy teenage" phase, but that's GOOD ... he's happy, he's healthy and he's clearly flourishing.
I think this is a wonderful story and a wonderful blog and I'm just happy that Moses is doing so well! Keep up the good work and enjoy even the craziest of crazy teen phase moments!
